Since I moved to Da Nang, which is in Vietnam, from Thailand I wanted to use its airport--ICAO designation is "DAD".
The airport is a Vietnam War legacy, having parallel runways.
I earned my pilot's licence in 1971 in grade twelve, but ever since the FAA (Federal Bureau of Aviation) introduced a new class of aircraft in 2001 called "Light Sport Aircraft" or "LSA", the market has exploded with tantalizing offerings.
Just Google "LSA" or "Light Sport Aircraft".
All the technological developments: airframes, instrumentation, carbon fibre and engines also influenced development of gyrocopters:
